Le club du parc La Fontaine : Un lieu emblématique de la pétanque en Amérique du Nord

The Parc La Fontaine Club : An Iconic Venue for Petanque in North America

According to the Canadian Boules Federation, petanque was introduced to Canada in 1954 and popularized among the general public thanks to two pioneers : Jean Rafa and Jean Fuschino. In 1956, the La Boule du parc La Fontaine club was founded, quickly becoming a key gathering place for enthusiasts of the sport. Today, this park is considered the Mecca of petanque in North America, a place rich in history and emotion.
